This event is an all-level intensive dance weekend course, acceptable for WCS dancers who want to improve their technique in partnership, musicality, footwork, and styling. It’s never enough to improve details without depending on a level of knowledge.

INSTRUCTORS
Thomas
From Boogie to West Coast Swing – Thomas has been dancing Swing since his youth. He possesses immense knowledge about dances, techniques, and the history of the Swing era. His passion for understanding the similarities and differences between Swing dances led him from Boogie, Lindy Hop, and Balboa to Jazz, Modern, and Ballet, all the way to West Coast Swing.
Thomas has been teaching Swing since 2005 and at international festivals since 2009. In his dance school “Hep Cat Club” in Augsburg, he dedicates himself with great passion and devotion to all forms of Swing dance and their history. And you can feel it! Both in his courses and his teacher training. He has been teaching swing passionately worldwide for nearly two decades.
Vanessa
As a hip-hop dancer, Vanessa began performing in competitions at a young age. She then jumped into partner dancing with Zouk and Forró, but her heart ultimately chose West Coast Swing. She started swing dancing in 2017 and quickly worked her way up the ranks, competing in Europe, North America, and Asia. In addition to teaching groups, her great passion is working as a coach on goals and implementation. Through her dancing and professional activities, she has an excellent sense and expertise in analyzing and reconciling hobbies, work, and personal matters. Vanessa teaches West Coast Swing worldwide and loves educating dancers around the world.
Together they belong to the West Coast Swing community in Germany and contribute with their German precision and fun teaching methods to a fast-growing swing community in their home country.
